Woolly Thyme Weavings
The deep blue view of the islands off the Blue Rocks Commons trail In Stonehurst, Nova Scotia, designed and woven by Lunenburg based fibre artist Mary Anne Donovan.
Materials: cotton warp with weft of local hand dyed silk, merino, linen, mohair, and locally sourced yarns comprised of Scandinavian wool, alpaca, yak, baby llama, cashmere, wool roving, and more. Mounted on a locally crafted ash wood holder.
Dimensions: woven dimension is 26 inches wide 32 inches long, including ash holder 28 inches wide 34.5 inches long
