Colour and Sea - St. John’s

Handwoven tapestry created by fibre artist Mary Anne Donovan in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. This port in colour weaving depicts the St. John’s Narrows, encompassing the historic Cabot Tower on Signal Hill, the characteristic colourful homes in downtown St. John’s playfully known as jellybean row, and the tumultuous surrounding sea.
