Handwoven wall hanging made in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia by Mary Anne Donovan. Inspired by a visit to a breathtaking island off of Newfoundland, Fogo Island, and its rugged, edge of the earth landscape that is spotted with contrasting unique, architecturally stunning, angular studios.
Materials: Icelandic wool, local hand dyed and handspun slubby mix with Blue Face Leicester, merino, Atlantic Canadian wool, local hand dyed Romney, alpaca and more.
Dimensions: woven piece is 17.5” wide by 32” long, extends to 19” wide by 34” long on driftwood collected from a beach on Fogo Island.
