Glacial Wanderers - No. 1

Handwoven tapestry designed and woven by fibre artist, Mary Anne Donovan in her Lunenburg, Nova Scotia studio. 

Inspired by the glacial wonders that drift close to the shores of Newfoundland.

Materials: cotton warp with weft of locally hand dyed merino wool, silk, linen, mohair, as well as super fine alpaca, Scandinavian wool, Icelandic wool, and more, mounted on beach driftwood collected along the shores of Nova Scotia.

Dimensions: woven width of 9.5” and length of 27”. Total dimensions including driftwood 13.5” wide and 28.5” long.
