Low Tide Treasures - Bachmans Beach

Handwoven tapestry designed and woven by fibre artist, Mary Anne Donovan in her Lunenburg, Nova Scotia studio. 

Inspired by the low tide exploration at Bachmans Beach near Lunenburg, Nova Scotia.

Materials: cotton warp with weft of locally hand dyed merino wool, silk, linen, mohair, as well as super fine alpaca, Scandinavian wool, Icelandic wool, wool roving and more, mounted on beach driftwood collected along the shores of Nova Scotia.

Dimensions: woven width of 9.5” and length of 26”. Total dimensions including driftwood 18” wide and 30” long.
