Settling on Sunsets - Bachmans Beach

Handwoven tapestry designed and woven by fibre artist, Mary Anne Donovan in her Lunenburg, Nova Scotia studio. 

Inspired by the settling for simplicity in life, and sunset nights at Bachmans Beach.

Materials: cotton warp with weft of locally hand dyed merino wool, silk, linen, mohair, as well as super fine alpaca, Scandinavian wool, Icelandic wool, and more, mounted on beach driftwood collected along the shores of Nova Scotia.

Dimensions: woven width of 9.5” and length of 23”. Total dimensions including driftwood 21” wide and 25” long.
