Paddle Through

A small handwoven tapestry depicting the winding shoals and tidal pools along the coastal community of Blue Rocks, Nova Scotia, designed and woven by Lunenburg based fibre artist Mary Anne Donovan.

Materials: cotton warp with weft of local hand dyed merino, silk, linen, mohair, Scandinavian wool, cashmere, alpaca, and more. Mounted on Nova Scotia beach driftwood.

Dimensions: woven dimension of 10 inches wide 25 inches long with driftwood extending to 13 inches wide.
